It doesn't. I was thinking this administration would run more Camus-esque, but it doesn't seem like they're shooting down democracy because the sun is in their eyes.

I'm not surprised that they'll limit FAA regulations and environmental reviews for test flights (i.e. Starship), but most launch time constraints are dependant on mission windows, flight engineering checks, and weather. This seems more like posturing, and a cat call to Elon, than anything.

He could have been prevented from gaining more authority if certain "reputable" news organizations would've held him accountable, called out his unconstitutional actions for what they are, and didn't platform him and his supporters blatant disregard for objective truth--all so they could get clicks.
