im still longing for the roadmaster... the beautiful analog gauges... the green... the red leather... this car would be owned by a vampire lawyer. is it not the sexiest car youve ever seen. Dont answer (delusional)

the only thing going against it is that it's short (i would call it a micro-suv... maybe a lifted hatchback...) and Dark Grey. i HATED my silver car coz nobody ever saw me (i live in an area thats grey for 8 months straight) but if i run into problems w THIS grey i can save up to wrap it i suppose..

i could not find a single car that did NOT have these things without going back 15y... but i wanted a warranty after my recent car bout :( the one i'm going with has the least invasive screen/OPTIONAL safety tech. when the guy was trying to show it off i was like "but can i turn it off..."

i've also learned that have nearly the exact OPPOSITE needs of most car buyers and thus no modern cars cater to me (person who does not want a touchscreen or a screen at all preferably in their car, i want no invasive 'safe' driving assistance, i want analog buttons and dials for everything)

if anyone is wondering what i'm ending up in it is a Modern car but still with a dark red leather interior. decidedly less squishy than the roadmaster and the exterior isnt black (☹️) but i think its the smart choice and the least likely to send me into gigantic blinding screen-induced rage

i cant lie to you im really considering this. i wouldnt have a car payment… my insurance would be so low… and it is for all intents and purposes my dream car (ancient rectangular black sedan with squishy dark red leather interior owned by an enthusiast)

im gonna try to see if any dealerships near me have crazy black friday/end of year sales… when i bought my first car i actually got it new coz it was somehow a better/less expensive deal than a used one on a holiday sale…

i'm pretty sad that she wasn't fixable coz i really did love that car for the brief moments i had her...... but i do value my sanity more than beautiful dual tone leather seating. my stress has manifested in truly horrid ways this month i'm so glad this shit is almost over

now the hunt begins for something that will not stall. preferably that also allows me to fill the gas tank. they weren't able to replicate any of my issues the whole time btw and i got a text earlier this week from the service department that just said "We don't know what to do now" girl obviously
