Keep it going with Weir with Project Hail Mary. Enjoyed this more than The Martian. Otherwise maybe the Bobiverse books, or Red Rising. Or Jurassic Park?

Yeah while cancellations have always been a thing, the economics have changed for sure. Being allowed to grow your audience or improve your story is not a thing on streaming. They need instant hits

I think there's more than enough potential in Star Wars. They just jave to grow set of balls and let go of the 70 or so years of the Skywalker era. And replace Kathy Kennedy.
