As long as Amercans allow companies and universities to make a pill for 25 cents and sell it for 1000 dollars this will continue.

Wouldn't that be circular.

If they pay more in wages they will charge more pushing up cost of living which will mean they have to pay higher wages.

What really needs to happen is regulation of price increases so wage rises don't just get sucked up by price rises.
