I get it. I wasn't really into spiders until about 20 years ago when my son got interested. Now it's a hobby, have raised 5 tarantulas since they were tiny spiderlings. Have also gotten interested in different Mantis, like this one, the Orchid Mantis.

Have you ever seen jumping spiders up close? All of those eyes serve a purpose, depth perception, seeing movement, night vision. Like a guy out hunting wearing contact lenses with binoculars and night vision goggles. Same with tarantulas. Here's a cute jumping spider, Maratus nemo.

He just turned 16 and I love him so much! He was a rescue from a bad situation 15 years ago and is the most pampered old man.
