I watched Counterpart. I recommended it to friends. They ignored me. Now maybe they'll listen to you.

Gotta give credit to @jeffreygoldberg.bsky.social and @theatlantic.com for having this week's show composed of an all women panel. @amnanawaz.bsky.social @anneapplebaum.bsky.social @sbg1.bsky.social and Vivian Salama.
What a refreshing viewpoint.

And yet he is the one overseeing America's healthcare.

How far we have fallen.

Thank you, Senator (Dr.) Cassidy

Interesting segment on @pbsnews.org this past week about video games. I still have, buried in the back of a closet, somewhere, the original Atari 2600 game console with cartridges of games like Missile Command & Space Invaders which I think are classics. Ah, those were the days.

The Churchill War Rooms was quite a pleasant surprise.
Nice remembrance that you picked up there. I settled for a duck.

Hopefully you brought her back a bit of shortbread

Oh my!

Both of these "destinations" are amazing.

Glad to see that @radiofreetom.bsky.social agrees.

I was in London just a couple of months ago.

The Churchill War Rooms was exceptional. We dropped by, without pre-assigned/timed tickets and got in immediately.
What an exhibition!

Cannot recommend it enough.

I was wondering what the topic of this month would be.
There was a discussion of genocide, then fascism, then the ICC and now it seems it's about electing a woman for POTUS.

I enjoy reading the plethora of responses to the topic. Be that as it may pro, con, or "?", and your measured replies.

We stumbled on this place a couple of years back. My type of place to eat. Such a nice & friendly surprise. Would love to visit again, but, it's a bit out of commuting range for a day trip for me here in Upstate NY this time around.

These people followed the law. Took years to get that point of becoming a naturalized American citizens.

In less than a year, Trump & his corrupt, cruel and caustic cronies are destroying American values with their vitriol & hate towards migrants who don't meet "their" standards.

Disgraceful.

I guess I suffer from selective memory disorder since I don't even recall this from a classic show that I enjoy watching today since days of yore of my childhood.
But, then again, it may explain the current situation of those suffering selective memory disorder by those within the MAGA/Trump cult

Two words in your article form a perfect picture of Hegseth -> "sniveling" and "weaselly".

Who is spoiling who here?

Yes.

Why?

Because.
December 2, 2025 at 10:00 PM
But, will it make a difference?

We all heard Trump to the run up to the 2024 election.

And now, there he is.
