It’s wild to characterize Leo as some villainous character that just abandons his family. Also, the wrecklessness bit was true. Again, Leo swore an oath to protect & GUIDE them—those were his priorities! Piper was doing too much (partly why she ended up with Toxemia) because of her own fears.

What separates good from evil is CHOOSING to remain aligned with the “Greater Good,” protecting what was often referred to as a very delicate balance. That choice caused Leo great inner turmoil & eventually led to his fall from Grace. There’s a lot I don’t agree with (esp. concerning the Elders)…

I feel CONTEXT MATTERS. There’s so much complexity/nuance. He didn’t abandon family just cuz; he responded to a “Greater Good” he took an oath to protect—similar to the unspoken oath the sisters take in order to be provided the “Power of Three.” Breaking either came with consequence.
