She asks if I'm making the mac and cheese, I confirm and say I make dressing too even though I'm really the only one who eats any. She then tells me SIL is making it but she thinks it's from a box so I can make it instead. Then today I get a text saying SIL is going to make it.

I spoke to MIL and confirmed I'd make the mac and chese, like always. Then later MIL calls to say SIL told her that she was bringing mac and cheese from costco. Only for it to be sold out. In the end, I didn't make it either. FF to yesterday, the first time talking to my MIL about thanxgiving dinner
