Prof. Arnold will also give an open lecture to the general public on Wednesday July the 9th , at 20:00 at FORTH’s main auditorium “Giorgos Lianis” with the title “Innovation by Evolution".
This year keynote speaker will be Prof. @francesarnold.bsky.social from @caltech.edu who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2018 for her pioneer work demonstrating that laboratory evolution can reliably outperform rational design in engineering complex molecular functions.
