I love how Dr. Oz told Trump he was wrong; that with the new weight-loss drugs being touted, Americans wouldn't lose 125 million lbs, but 135 billion.

Ha! If you divide 135 billion by the population of the United States, that results in 394 lbs per American. Wow! I didn't know I was that fat!

I'm reading @matociquala.bsky.social 's "The Folded Sky." The flow of the prose is like rocking on a gentle sea or floating on a comfy pool bed. What gets me, though, is how anxiety and self-doubt play such a huge role for the inner workings of a person despite the rightminding that's possible.

Just watched "The Magic of Belle Isle," starring Morgan Freeman. Heartwarming, to say the least. I'd trade one movie like this for all the "Final Destiny" movies Hollywood can produce.

Finished "Mandrake Company," a seven book series by Ruby Lionsdrake, aka Lindsay Buroker. This series, like many of Lindsay's books, is science fiction, with plenty of action and characters that follow a well-known formula.
