seems to me that the de facto primary purpose of speed limits is to cultivate a sense of disregard for the law

waltz dancing is the most cerebral physical activity I have ever done

I have to keep track of so many things: the beat, my partner's location, the next move to do, what nearby people are doing, all the details of how moves are supposed to be executed...

interesting side effect of learning ballroom dancing: my posture has gotten a lot better. like, a lot better. I think I've gained at least an inch of height from making my shoulders +neck straight
