For this assignment we had to study a film and an artist's artstyle and then combine them. I did a scene from the movie Savageland, and then La Danse du Sabbat by Émile Bayard. My Hybrid piece combined my graphite and- (1/2)

Had to create an illustration for my finals class, messed up the deadline and @dexdaina.bsky.social graciously allowed me to submit some fanart I did for them. I love it so much, I think the drawing is adorable

Had to design a mockup of a cover for the New Yorker magazine, studying one of their artist's styles and addressing a social issue. I chose the difficulty of queer youth and was assigned to study Lorenzo Mattotti's style

Had to make Album Covers for a chosen genre with specific color palletes, I chose deathrock but was really restricted by the colors I could use and uninspired the left column and the light are nice though. Hate the big one

'The Art of Food'

We were told to share a moment of our past where food played an emotional aspect, though there memory. I chose a Halloween after trick or treating, was docked for it not being relatable. I think this piece is cute though.

'Simple Shapes and Dynamic Colors'

Personal grade: 80/100

We were told to express some inspirations symbolicly, using basic color theory to choose the palletes for each square. This piece I finished late. I hate the ugly ass orange square and I hate tetrad color schemes

'Paper cutting illustration'

Personal grade: 98/100

Went for a traditional papel picado style to tell my story of choosing acceptance or grief facing cancer. Incredibly happy with how well I did though there are a few cutting error and it ended up being uneven

Making a tread/retrospective critique of all my art projects from this semester. I made a lot of pieces I like, and a lot that I don't.
