I realized this may look like it's just a random stock photo I found. It's not. It's an actual place that I stumbled upon several years ago. I was doing research on Sonoma county in preparation for taking a trip to see @sherbetalex.bsky.social, and I've been dreaming of it ever since 😅

Here I am, 12 years later once again trying to figure out a way to make enough money to go to Long Beach Comic Con 😅 Shout out to @gregznewcomb.bsky.social who helped make my first trip there possible. That is something I'll never forget ❤️

I told him about it because I want to go so badly (because all the TMNT guys will be there) and I knew he could help with it financially. But now the thought of taking a 5 hour car trip and sharing a hotel room with him makes me feel uneasy. I've backed myself into a corner.
After 10 months of going no contact with my father, I started seeing him every so often after my Grandma's funeral in May. We're planning a trip to Long Beach Comic Con this weekend , and I'm regretting telling him about the show.

I was excited to receive my first passport today...only to realize I made a mistake on the application and marked the wrong gender 🙃

My friend @sherbetalex had this awesome art done by @sigdowee and it's so cool! I've been turned into a Yoshi and am in my happy place, on the beach listening to the ocean waves. Also, look at the umbrella and towel! Van Gogh and TMNT represented! I love this 💙

So apparently 4 years ago I took a little trip to Wine Country. Shout out to @sherbetalex.bsky.social for showing me around and letting me experience some respite from the loudness and crowds of a bigger city.

My time at the con was cut short because I got sick, but I did manage to get a photo of the table I helped work on Friday, and my volunteer badge and button.
