Jesus worked in Salinas CAs fields for 14 years. He's skillfully removing lettuce plants so the plants do not grow too close together and they grow large. It takes a lot of experience to know which plants to leave. Walking the fields all day long makes him very tired. #WeFeedYou

Merced county sweet potatoes planted in the mid-Feb., are sprouting. These plants will grow and the roots will become sweet potatoes. Workers remove the protective covering everyday to water and weed the plants so the weeds don’t take nutrients the new plants to grow. #WeFeedYou
