CHS had LHR not LGW.

Since 2017, FLL has had everything from Dubai, to Tel Aviv, to London frequencies, and several Nordic destinations, all as nonstops... yet failed to sustain any of it.

The market generates plenty of total traffic, but at dogsh!t fares.

The airlines would just rather go to MIA

ANC has Frankfurt.
December 15, 2025 at 7:54 PM
Dang.

Might be easier to list the routes they're KEEPING. 😜

Great to see both them, and the return of EgyptAir. Both allowing LAX to rejoin the "Six Continent Club."

Both Norwegian and BA flew LGW-FLL starting 2017, and lost their shirts. Worst performing route in BA's longhaul system.

There's a reason FLL no longer has scheduled TATL service: longhaul fares from it are absolute garbage.

Whatever u find is irrelevant.

As I said, I'm looking right at the numbers the airlines themselves use, updated for 2Q; and both of your claims are nonfactual.

PDEW isn't even the relevant factor here. CLE's fares are comparatively trash.

BA may someday come there, but they have no reason to rush

"CLE has a higher PEWD rate to LHR than CVG and several other regional airports BA serves"

None of that is true.

I'm looking at the 2Q25 Cirium numbers as we speak, and CLE does not have a higher PDEW to LON (including LGW+STN) than any US airport BA serves.

Fares are garbage, too.

No no, don't stop now. Tell me about all the other ways you're accomplishing nothing for anybody. This is interesting!
November 12, 2025 at 10:22 AM
Aww, how precious.

Wake us when THAT starts getting the masses healthcare, or keeps people in their house.
November 12, 2025 at 10:19 AM
Cosplay doesn't count, kiddo. Time to grow up.
November 12, 2025 at 10:15 AM
Uh-huh. Totally because you have such well-thought-out plans and pathways for economic reform.... and nothing to do with you just being a starry-eyed (and rather dimwitted) kid, fantasizing about some "revolution!" that's NEVERRRRRR going to come.

Totally. 😘
November 12, 2025 at 10:09 AM
And that's okay. Life is a progression.

Unlike so many of the others here, you're intellectually honest enough to ADMIT that you don't have all the answers.

We'll continue to try to figure it out as we go, in each of our ways.
November 12, 2025 at 1:09 AM
So much for comprehension.

Anyway, I'm not actually arguing. I asked a question that none of these types have been able to give anything but a completely intangible platitude in response to.

Far be it from me, to not see where it ultimately goes. I find it interesting.
November 12, 2025 at 12:16 AM
Why do you assume so much, while knowing so little?

You have NO IDEA what my ambitions/efforts/motives were and are, yet you're sitting here babbling declaratively about them as if the likes of you had even a baseline clue. 🤣

Very strange, though fascinating, behavior.
November 12, 2025 at 12:09 AM
Sure champ, which is why you just screwed up a straightforward statement, then tried to blame me. 🤣
November 12, 2025 at 12:06 AM
The MODEL fool, not the RESULTS.

Perhaps you need to focus a bit more on your own *basic* comprehension, before worrying about me....
November 11, 2025 at 11:48 PM
Copy/paste where I said it'd be the same. I'll wait.

Or, you could try reading what's actually written.
November 11, 2025 at 11:33 PM
What randos on the internet choose believe, has no bearing on what happened. You can take it or leave it, that means nothing.

But yes, I can't help people who don't want to help themselves.

And who have I "blamed" or anything? I've only commented on their state of being.

Real world experience inconvenient for your fantasies, so you bounce out?

About the level of resolve expected.
November 11, 2025 at 11:29 PM
Well aware of why it is. That's immaterial to the conclusion: I'd not want to emulate that model. What's it produced?

China's community in name only. It's consumeristic af.
Vietnam is no better off than other post-war ASEANs per capita.

What would make that model preferable?
November 11, 2025 at 11:29 PM
If Black Tuesday 1929, subprime 2008, and January 2021 weren't enough.... what will?
November 11, 2025 at 11:01 PM
I organized for more than 30yrs. What I kept discovering, is how little the majority of those on whose behalf we were doing so, wanted anything outside of the comfort of their routine, even if to their detriment.

You'd probably know that by now too, if your organization went beyond online prattle.
November 11, 2025 at 11:00 PM
Right, because Cuba's exactly what we want to emulate.

Great literacy rate.... can't keep electricity on for more than an average of 4hrs outside Havana.

Hmm, hard pass.
