Honestly we already have all the tech needed. We just have to stop emitting ridiculous amounts of carbon. At a glance it seems like it would be complex to fix, but it’s really just a cultural shift and we would be set.

Not trying to be negative- but people already have and are dying. All those deaths from the wildfires are from climate change, same with all freak weather events as of late. Maybe when it’s their friends and family?

But they already are - and we are already seeing the effects of it. I mean , record breaking hurricane seasons, and deadly wildfires in the middle of winter? People are dying already, when will we wake up?

I also don’t think they are doing this to sell anything. This is 100% censorship in action. I have a feeling they won’t be collecting data for much longer either - I mean, look at what’s happening with DOGE.

There’s the way back machine and internet archive, both are websites that have snapshots of websites if someone requested them, you type in a website and see if anything pops up.
Your thing about the data being updated makes perfect sense tho guess my suggestion isn’t as helpful as I hoped
