I’m nostalgic for the days when presidents pretended foreign intervention wasn’t all about oil.

Where is this war zone? Better send in the troops.

It’s a great relief to know someone has been impersonating Marco Rubio. This whole time I’ve been wondering why he didn’t seem like himself. The imposter might not have been caught had he added a shred of dignity to his version of Marco.

If this is what it’s going to cost to end the Trump nightmare once and for all, then it’s probably worth it.

The definition of insanity is repeating the same definition of insanity when that’s not the actual definition of insanity.

Starting to believe Krasnov likes golden showers.

From an article about Barron Trump: “He also apparently has a charming way with women. He spent 30 minutes chatting with billionaire Jeff Bezos, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Senate Majority Leader John Thune at Trump’s Inauguration Day Luncheon.”

I wonder if he got some that night.

It’s one thing to eradicate DEI. Some moderate conservatives and even some on the left think there was merit to that. But to turn around and create ACB destroys that merit. The Anti Christian Bias Task Force. Give me a break.

I used to believe MAGA cared about truth but fell victim to Trump’s (and right wing media’s) lies. I wondered why pointing out contradictions and sharing facts never seemed to penetrate. I assumed it was the power of confirmation bias.

Now I see clearly. It’s because all they care about is POWER.

To any working class MAGA on this platform: Are you okay with the world’s richest man having so much power in a government position for which he wasn’t elected or nominated? If so, why?

From The NYT: “A new…poll shows the Democratic Party with its highest unfavorability rating (57 percent), and the Republican Party with its highest favorability rating (43 percent), since…[the poll started] in 2008.”

A whopping 80% think NYT is biased, while only 20% think Fox News is unbiased.

Pam Hemphill was given a pardon and turned it down because she is seeking redemption. Bishop Budde used her voice even though her voice shook.

One sliver of light in all this darkness: the heroes stand out.

Trump Translator: “

Truth Social: “There is an Arctic blast sweeping the country. I don’t want to see people hurt…Therefore, I have ordered that the Inauguration…be delivered in the Capitol Rotunda, as was used by Ronald Reagan.”

Translation: “Mother Nature is a nasty woman and I’m her bitch.”

When Musk and Trump are in a room together, one is clearly the wealthiest person in the world, and one is clearly the most powerful man in the world. And that one is Musk.

Can we agree to a norm here? If you’re going to block someone in the middle of a back and forth, you don’t get the last word.

Thoughts?

Just joined this app and deleted the other. Scrolled for a bit. Felt…bored. Where’s the outrage? Where’s the post that’ll trigger me into replying? Wait. That’s not boredom I felt. It’s relief! As though a dark cloud has passed. As though the sky is suddenly…Ohhhh. I get it now.
