Winter weather: 0. Redbirds: 1

Even with winter weather in the mix, students still rolled up, sleeves up, and proved that caring for the community doesn’t take a snow day. Thank you for being part of something bigger Illinois State University!

Winter may have hit hard, but we can always count on blood donors to help keep the blood supply strong. Right now, we're looking to make up for hundreds of pints lost when blood drives were canceled.

Big news for emergency care in Illinois. 🚑🩸
Eureka-Goodfield EMS took delivery of their first unit of blood this week, becoming one of the first ground ambulances in the state to carry blood.
That means lifesaving care can start sooner, right where it matters most.

Giving blood brings a community together to save lives. Every January, the Iowa COPS (Concerns of Police Survivors) bring into focus those officers who have fallen in the line of duty, and highlight their legacy of courage, selflessness, and protection.
