Fair, but I think it's ludicrous to hold a parent accountable for everything a kid does. Your original post is obviously about the recent school shooting in WI. Yeah, that parent/those parents should go to jail for facilitating their daughter's access to weapons. But we can't control our children.

I dunno. I agree to some extent, but also have to acknowledge that children are humans with agency all their own. I didn't teach my son to use potty language at school, he's been instructed and disciplined not to, but he still does sometimes. Is that my fault or his?
