And here is the close up of Imperia herself, I draw her a lot and it was a fun balancing act to come up with a design that can be drawn easily(ish) in a fighting game, while capturing all the aspects of her personality.

She's a queen, a wind elemental mage, and a chaotic flirt. Very fun to animate!

(Obviously I picked what I thought were the best solutions and implemented them. I didn't just leave the problem unsolved!)

I read Chaos Walking years ago, finally found the 2nd book to complete my collection the other month. Re-read them and was blown away by how prescient they were about the nature of isolated angry men. Also shoutout to Todd having two dads! It didn't register to me the first time.
