It’s release day!
I am all official. For the first time in my life I don’t just have a book out, I have an audiobook!
It’s in stores I have never spoken to—yesterday it was on the Netgalley homepage! It’s been featured in the Library Journal and I have multiple upcoming appearances in just October!

There's a lot I like about 5.5 and a lot I've got criticisms on (BELIEVE ME). I wouldn't be surprised if Brennan treats 5.5 like it's a la carte and take what he feels will work with this campaign. I've got faith that he'll make it fun and he'll make it work.

Now, that doesn't mean there'll never be a long form Daggerheart campaign. C5 maybe? They even said they're going to keep making Daggerheart content. As the system grows and matures I'm SURE that it'll be an option in the future. Just not now.

Daggerheart, for what they want to do, it's just not feasible. They could've used anything and D&D 5.5 made the most sense. Hell, Matt made the call for going from 3.5 to 5 for C1. If you think that they didn't think long and hard about this, that's silly.

My 2¢ on CR C4. Daggerheart is 3 months old. It's in its literal infancy. They are still creating, fine-tuning, and ever-exploring its possibilities as a game system. I get it. You love it. I do too, but for what they want to do... It's WAY to early for long form content.

Rando thought (someone else may have already thought of this. Shadowrun. Ppl sit on the sidelines for astral journeys and decking. Decking, as an example, what if other players could play/roll as programs, playing alongside the decker? If they want to feel included.
