On Bluesky now that it feels like what Twitter used to be.
Before Twitter became Musk's personal plaything.
Starmer signed this deal that allowed Peter Thiel's sinister Palantir to access public health records - in return getting to be in Trump's good books and avoiding tariffs.

All because Starmer wants to "make Brexit work" and avoid cooperating with the EU - and now gets tariffs anyway, absolute farce

Kind of like being in an alternative universe - the Daily Telegraph has a story by Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch saying:

"Britain will not be Trump's poodle under the Tories"

Whereas traditionally the Tory line of attack was Labour would weaken the alliance and relationship with the USA.

Trump toned his rhetoric over Iran and then ramped it up over Greenland.

"We've had some unusual and unexpected economic threats from President Trump over the past year, but I think it is safe to say this exceeds all of them, and takes us into both surreal and utterly dangerous territory."

This is actually quite a remarkable achievement by Trump, uniting Denmark in unison, which never had largescale protests like this against the USA before.

Smaller anti-war protests in the past but nothing like this - that cuts across all social classes and political views across Danish Society.

WW2 ultimately led to the collapse of the British, French, Dutch, Belgian, Portuguese and Italian empires. Not all collapsed at the same rate but the economic situation as well as the rhetoric used during the war - saw the colonised eager to have and fight* for the same freedoms for themselves.

The two major standout features for Farage are his lack of judgement and the fact he'll do anything for a bit of cash - yet this is the man millions want as Prime Minister.

His latest act of idiocy was praising a child abuse offender as "a really good guy" - he was offered around £80 for doing this

It's quite remarkable that Miller doesn't seem to realise that what he sees as the West "apologising, grovelling and begging" after WW2 was a reaction against Nazism and fascism. The desire to avoid the conditions in which Hitler and Mussolini rose to power - as well as the end of western empires.

In Middlesbrough, northern England, during the 2024 riots by the far-right, groups of angry men had been stopping cars to check if the occupants were white - if not they were to be forced back or possibly physically attacked.

One driver brushed passed someone who then claimed he had been "run over"

I thought I'd ask Copilot (the very AI tool cited in the report) about this and it blames "AI‑generated material".

Although, without using AI - West Midlands police could probably have banned Maccabi Tel Aviv citing their history of hooliganism and then it would simply have been a policing decision

I wonder what "GROK" stands for? Just sounds like an acronym of a random bunch of words that don't seem to stand for anything.

Iran's economy actually suffered due to the deportations - Afghans played a key role in agriculture, constructions and low-wage jobs that most Iranian avoided.

State media however referred to them as "illegal workers", who were "straining public services" and "contributing to unemployment."

Iran's 2025 deportations had similarities with the MAGA mindset, Iran revoked documentation for 2 million Afghans thus making them undocumented to allow mass deportations.

The deportation included whole families not just single men like in the past, state media said they were a security threat.

Not only is Peter Mandelson not properly apologising for his continued association with Epstein (who he referred to as his "best pal") - he also manged to praise Trump for his "directness" in his pollical dealings while simultaneously claiming Trump won't actually try to take Greenland.

Labour have managed to get themselves stuck in the neverending task of trying to appease the far-right.
The more they talk of cracking down the more it sounds like to their detractors that things are out of control.

Meanwhile the dearth in immigration is starting to impact public services.

Ross's released recording only start with Good's reply to him but it seems he probably told her she was angry "I bet you're mad" etc - however it's most likely that he was projecting his own anger onto her and her final calm words ended up with him lashing out and shooting her in the face.

"While Iranians across the country were suddenly cut off from the internet, Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, continued to post on X."

Another Conservative leader who is a Musk fan.
January 10, 2026 at 3:46 PM
Facts don't matter when Musk's X platform and Zuckberberg's Meta are pumping out misinformation - unverified and unchecked.

Ironically the fall in immigration is likely to impact healthcare and other areas that'll mainly affect core Reform and other nationalistic voters angry about immigration.

The other stuff aside, I find it kind ironic that Lammy mentions the "nations share deep history and common values - liberty, democracy, and justice" while marking America 250.

Which marks 250 years since the USA's declaration of independence which referred to British rule as “absolute Tyranny”.
