Great goal by Newhook after the refs once again miss yet another penalty call on Utah. Also, the #Habs seem to have reverted to their form of past seasons in getting outshot badly in every game. That’s not a pattern I like.

The refs blow yet another non-call against the #Habs, and it leads directly to a Utah goal. Absolutely pathetic. But, Caufield ties it up as I’m typing this! 2-2……….

It’s a process…….
You practice because you’ve had none before this year.
Learning how to hold a lead is a skill too. It’s a skill that needs practice.
It can take seasons to learn how to shut a game down. Can’t be impatient in 14 games, Everyone.

The Habs can’t seem to find a way to keep a lead in the third period. In 7 of their 14 games they have had, then given up a third period lead. I’m not sure how you coach a young team away from that trend.

I’m going into to tonight’s game with zero expectations. That’s not a comment on the #Habs; it’s a comment on how good and exciting the Devils are. If Montréal loses a fun, competitive game, I’ll be fine with that. If it’s a NJ blowout, that’s a different story, and if the Habs somehow win? 🎉🥳🎈🍾
