all of management had to get involved to settle this grand issue. it was a 45 minute fiasco to reason with her. she was inconsolable. (we don’t, and have never worked christmas. she’s been an employee here for 7 years)

today i witnessed a coworker (on the verge of getting fired) hysterically saying she needed christmas off to spend it with her daughter. that’s reasonable, i get that. but, todays date is april 23rd
