Reminds me of the last time I ate at a Denny's. The waiter was on something, no idea what, but he was 200% friendly and attentive. He was so apologetic that the soda machine was out of one of the flavors ordered he brought the whole table (6 people) two additional rounds of soda while we waited.

Nice!

I once cut a lemon in half with a plastic fork in the break room where I work after forgetting to pack a knife in my lunch bag.

Luckily my usual antics had already desensitized my coworkers by that point so no one blinked. 😅

Sometimes I like my coffee as bitter as life. It puts things in perspective.

Plus, if I get tired of the harsh taste I can add sugar and cream.

To the coffee I mean...

What a cutie! He looks a lot like one of my cats, the only boy in our household.

I don't understand why an image needs to look 'encouraging' to readers or why they believe it does not. It would have made a thought-provoking cover, in my opinion

Former room mates' cat ran away after 'dad' yelled at him for no reason. After the second day they stopped looking for him. 'Mom' told me he was nowhere nearby, as she had looked everywhere. Turns out he was just scared of them and hiding on the property.

I found him. He came to me.
This is Orion.

To be fair, though, the grandfather I inherited my tolerance for spice from had abnormally high limits. I don't think he ever encountered a spicy dish he couldn't eat with ease. Salsa with pure capsaicin extract and comes with a warning? He took a whole mouthful with no reaction. It was "ok".

I am white and I don't think I have ever been served food at a 'normal' spice level for the given cuisine. I always long for it to be spicier...

I often order the spiciest dish on the menu and it comes out medium spice level or less :(
Let my taste buds burrnnnnn.
