What was played bare today is that the Republican Party protects DONALD TRUMP..NOT the United States, NOT the Constitution, NOT the American people. Their complete acceptance of Jan. 6 and their rage at the investigators of that day shows their complete abandonment of the country, law, their oaths..

Republicans struck me today as being very fearful, and it was clear that they were trying to appeal to one person with their rage at and attacks on Smith, their lying, their refusing to let him answer, their mostly just lecturing at him.

I don't believe for one second that Trump wants to update Alcatraz. Trump is living out his fantasy of being a brutal dictator. What turns him on about Alcatraz is the horror of it. the man is evil and sick.
