عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْحَيَاءُ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ، وَالْإِيمَانُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، وَالْبَذَاءُ مِنَ السُّؤْءِ، وَالسُّؤْءُ فِي النَّارِ، وَإِنَّ الْمَرْءَ لَيَتَحَدَّثُ بِالْقَوْلِ لَيَظُنَّهُ خَفِيفًا فَيَهْوِي بِهِ فِي النَّارِ أَبْعَدَ مَا بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ».
(رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالَ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ).
