Yeah that does make it easier to partake in and much faster to just enjoy but there is something to be said for those who enjoy continuity and get really excited about previous aspects or NPCs or story plots coming over. Though I am more inclined toward your train of thought and ease

I have played a title or two but haven't beaten any of them, I can't recall which one it was but it was set during like the revolutionary war and I didn't know what I was doing but had fun with it. That and the Valhalla I believe that one I played for a while but made almost no progress, I Roomba

I don't think I have ever played any of the Far Cry games but that's mostly because I'm dog water at most fps games. Indo like that they're stand alone so you can drop in and enjoy it without having had to chew through the rest of the series.

Like usual my motivation is always at a zero I am not sure if it's an Ethan thing, an ADHD thing or some other entity keeping me locked in place. I got to find a way to break these bindings and get energy and motivation to visit once again.

I hate that nonsense and the purity tests that come with it, oh you like XYZ that means etc. yes there are things I don't like to or want to see, and I quietly remove them or the keywords associated with them. I don't get a pass to be a dick about what you do or don't like cause I don't jive with it
