The introduction of the villian in X-Men '97 is such a baffling scene to me. It uses this trope I'm tired of to show the traits that make the villian stand out, but after the scene ends nothing about it is relevant to his character.

I hate in fiction when something hard to break is frozen, & then becomes as easy to break as ice
Like thats not how it works at all
You would just break the ice around it
Its treated as if the object becomes ice
But like metal is already technically frozen
It doesnt turn into anything when colder

I really wish there was a way to totally disable anything popping up in your feed. My attention span has been fucked enough from algorithms. I really just want to have somewhere public to post random thoughts instead of bothering my friends sometimes.
