Bee sting sore. Obviously people react differently to venom. Pretty mild though

A Black-bearded Gliding Lizard (Draco melanopogon) in camouflage mode on a tree trunk. Often the way to spot these tiny little dragons is catching a flutter out the corner of your eye as it glides from tree to tree

Roseate spoonbills will splash their wings through the water as part of their beauty routine. Here's one doing so mid-splash, facing straight ahead towards the camera. I really love this shot. #birds

Two hide hammerhead flatworms in their native Singapore. I’m not sure if they are fighting, eating, mating or all of the above. I thought it was one snake at first glance.

My Tokay Gecko photograph got published in A Field Guide To The Reptiles & Amphibians Of Singapore this weekend. Aside from the joy of getting my photo included, this book is one of the best field guides I’ve owned. Great ID photos and even tadpole and spawn photos. Brilliant!

Singapore otters are always under the shadow of a murder of House Crows. These dark scavengers know that treats are to be found around otters. They finish off leftovers, peck unsavouries from otter spraints, and even peck unguarded tails like they are pulling the dinner bell

This little wolf of the waterways is a Smooth-coated otter. Cute and playful and a deadly predator! This beauty was tucking into lunch at one of Singapore’s most popular tourist areas.
