I should probably look into fantasy craft.
I also didnt mind how iron claw did it, where the magic used by clergy isnt actually that different from wizards in the lore
the nightmares underneath did something similar with its scholar class, lawyer which studies theology and medicine and knows magic

i struggle with this constantly, in the popular rpg sphere, most clerics feel just like wizards with heals, and religion feels like an afterthought, i keep wanting to redesign clerics but hard to find something im happy with
