About 2 years. I live near the Rotary wharf where everyone goes crabbing. Moved to the island with an Ex 3 years ago, stayed when we split. 1 kid in Halifax, one in TO, 2 in Ottawa. Hate being so far from them.

I am actually in Sooke. Fortunately WFH so don’t need to deal with traffic. Infrastructure is sorely lacking re roads. I am very fortunate to rent on the ocean. In the next year or 2 will move back east. Prob Ottawa as 2 of 4 kids there. Don’t get me started on THAT place.

Yeah. I had one. Was ok. Here is where NS is superior. Seafood. No fresh haddock here. Halibut ugh. Lobster and mussels, forget about it. Can’t swim in the ocean here unless you are a polar bear. NS has way better beaches. Live music, I miss places like Lower Deck. Keji, nothing here compares.

Halifax waterfront has a view of Dartmouth. The bottom of the harbour is white, like it snowed from all of the TP and tampons from the raw sewage dumped in there over decades. (Ex husband was a navy diver). Both are great cities for different reasons.

I raised my kids on the South Shore and live NS but you are comparing Victoria to all of Nova Scotia. Compare Vic to Hali and Province to Province. No comparison.

Try living in Ottawa or Edmonton. I think about that often as well. I can only assume that they arrived in summer and then were met with a huge surprise. Boggles my mind.

Trump has a head full of Amyloid. The MRI is looking for ARIA, a side effect of the monoclonal antibodies he is receiving intravenously (bruised hands). The MoCA is administered to evaluate clinical symptoms. Bookmark this!
