So the platform I used for my Blog is called Ghost. Ghost just released version 6.0 which turned it from a batch-standard blogging CMS into an activitypub enabled federated social media platform. ActivityPub and social media! I can't escape it! I will not be following people from my blog or using the social media features **but** it is now the case that you can now follow this blog at @[email protected] from any ActivityPub platform and my blog posts will show up in your feed. You can like them, reblog them, and reply to them, which will appear as comments I can see. I don't think they appear below the post on the main website. There is also now a Bluesky mirror that just automatically posts new blog updates to BlueSky if you prefer to keep up with me that way. It's @[email protected] (yes that's an insane string of TLDs I hate the fediverse) I figure even though I still will not be participating in social media that it doesn't hurt to inform everyone that they can have an experience of me being on social media now and maybe it will help my writing reach new audiences.
