Sounds like you might like a board with silent switches or semi-silent. The great thing about custom boards is that you can buy a barebones keeb and put whatever switches and keycaps you want on it. What's your price range?

They are definitely not wrong. I remember the days when it was one guy organizing a group buy and everyone being disappointed when it didn't reach moq. We are spoiled for choice these days.
