All of that being said, the rest of the game I enjoy a lot. Corneria, Sector a, Aera 3, Sector b, Titania, Fortuna, and the fight with Andross are my favorite parts of the game!

Finally, due to weirdness caused by the plot and the animated short, this game implies that Andross was exiled for the crime of: Inventing Teleporters...

There's one mission where you shoot up 3 missiles headed for Corneria while fighting off enemies attacking the Great Fox, and that's it.
There are several missions where it is just a dogfight against a single member of Star Wolf. (While cool on paper, some of them are underwhelming in execution.)

The cool Peppy mission abruptly ends after destroying a carrier(and escort)'s weapons, but the end scene implies that you went inside the ship and made the reactor go critical.
Venom was reduced into a weaponized asteroid.

I have similar feelings towards Star Fox Zero. While I did enjoy it once I got a handle on the controls, outside of the main path of missions, the others feel unfinished.

Later downloaded my saves from the Cloud and they were all corrupted.
I have not touched the game since then.

The game ran fine at first, but then things started getting weird and laggy. (Ex: 'Rainbow Christmas Trees' started showing up.)
It, combined with Windows 10's forced installation killed my desktop's 5-year-old 1TB Hard Drive with corrupted data.
Lost some family photos because of that.

Part of what convinced me Fallout 4 had something to do with that? When I installed the game on another computer and downloaded my Cloud Saves, they were all corrupted and refused to load.
