This town hall is not sponsored by Indivisible Butte, but we always encourage people to get to know the candidates, and learn where they stand on the issues important to you. And we already know the incumbent won't do a town hall...

Families First Protest is organized by Service Employees International Union SEIU 775 and Indivisible Butte is supporting the effort. Sunday 7/27, 4 PM at Carpenters Union Hall.
Our friends with Service Employees International Union SEIU 775 are organizing a protest for the Families First national day of action. Let's join them and raise our voices together!

The Big Bad Bill is a $4.5 trillion theft from working families of every race. It guts Medicaid, SNAP, child care, and higher education, while enriching ICE, polluters, and the ultra-rich. It rips apart the foundation our families rely on to survive, especially in Black, brown, immigrant, and low-income communities. Meanwhile, the same politicians hand billions in tax breaks to greedy corporations and billionaires. They've made their choice. WE choose each other. WE choose families.

Sunday July 27 at 4 PM - starting out at Carpenters Union Hall with a short walk to Montana Street for more visibility.

For more info on the Butte event, text Owen at 406-304-0521.

March in Peace. Act In Power.
It’s a national day of action on July 17th, 2025.

Coined by civil rights leader, Congressman John Lewis, “Good Trouble” is the act of coming together to take peaceful, non-violent action to challenge injustice and create meaningful change.

Good Trouble is marches, protests, service work—any action where communities come together, take a stand against wrongdoings, and speak truth to power.

In 2011, Lewis was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

“And generations from now, when parents teach their children what is meant by courage, the story of John Lewis will come to mind—an American who knew that change could not wait for some other person or some other time,” former President Obama said in his speech.
