This Thanksgiving, we are grateful for the incredible advocacy community our members have built this year. Thank you to everyone who raised their voice, built connections, volunteered, helped get out the vote, and helped to feed our neighbors. We are incredibly lucky to be part of this community.

The Rt 1 Food Drive for Our Immigrant Neighbors Continues!
We are again partnering with PG and MoCo IRCs to feed 45 families who've had a loved one detained by ICE. This week, we made a few minor adjustments to both time slots and the donation list in order to streamline operations.

With SNAP funding set to run out on Nov 1st, it is more important than ever to support our local food banks. Last night, our group gathered Halloween candy for kiddos who don't feel safe trick or treating due to ICE, and groceries for PG Immigrant Rights Collective, UCAP and DMV Food Justice.
