There's a difference between sticking up for yourself and lashing out at others for the smallest issue.
Porter runs for a position where dealing with high pressure, hard decisions, hostility and stupid questions is a large part of the job. How is she suppose to handle that if she cracks so easily?

I don't think people acting like a*holes after failing some easy test should get a pass just b/c they are women. Or b/c you agree with their policie.
It's actually quite condescending and misogynistic to claim that women should be held to lower standards.

"Genocide" is a term with very specific meaning and legal criteria and heavily dependent on intent. Whether or not it's applicable is better left to an investigation.
I'd say "atrocity" is a rather strong term and a lot harder to wave away with some hair-splitting arguments.

All the donations from people working for some pro-Israel organization were less than 0.2% of the total. 2% were from people working for human rights organizations?

How is this relevant for whether the math adds up?
Not sure whether she forgot how the primary system works and just tried to hide that flub with her second answer or whether she actually believes that she won't have any relevant competition for Democratic votes.
A bad look in any case.

I'd say he's "making the donor class comfortable" b/c he's competent and when he's talking about higher taxes for rich people the motivation is using that money efficiently to help poor people rather than make rich people cry.

Basic psychology. People HATE being forced to give up something they're used to, even if they aren't satisfied, just on the promise that this new thing is going to be better. Especially when the experience (+ propaganda) is that government doesn't work great and getting it wrong could kill you.

Given that he can't really *do* anything and doesn't have the protection of an elected office or money to pay for security I don't think it's a bad thing that he isn't in the crosshairs right now.

Different roles, different personalities, different strategies. AOC, Senators and governors are elected officials with at least some power to actually confront Trump. Some are good at trolling.
Trying to reach people who aren't informed and partisan for Democrats is different.

Which wasn't even really true btw, he explained the general outline of many different policies, including the reasoning that led to that policies, and answered every question in detail in his numerous town halls.

I think in April 2019, before or immediately after he'd announced, he didn't have much of a website.
But aside from not having the resources yet to have written plans ready it was a deliberate strategy not to go into too much detail at the beginning of the campaign.

The guy who said that the specific policies would come later (when he actually had a staff of more than 5 people) and who rolled out one plan after the other, hundreds of pages of White papers, and who explained of those in detail at a dedicated event with questions from the audience.

That said, diverting funds appropriated by Congress for specific infrastructure programs to ATC tech would be wildly illegal. And you can be certain that he'd already have been indicted if he'd spent one $ wrong.

I know what Duffy is claiming in order to hide his own incompetence. He doesn't provide any data though.
You can look up all the grants awarded under Buttigieg. The only way you can get to those numbers is by calling everything "DEI" that includes some measures to help disadvantaged communities.

Was Pete is doing is proposing pragmatic next steps, refusing to pander and over-promise, and framing his policies in a moderate/conservative language. Looks like this "disguise" is mainly working on some on the left.
