anyway i mostly ramble about pathfinder and whatever games have caught my attention recently so if you find that interesting then follow or something i guess 👉😎👉
probably just because i'm using it modded with spells clearly not intended for magic deceiver but spells that fire multiple rays appear to only fire one ray when fused, which is kinda sad but ultimately unsurprising.
the fact that Magic Deceiver fusing a ray spell with an AoE form means that you just auto-hit everything inside with no save is really funny. i'm sure putting Scorching or Hellfire Ray on a Fireball will be perfectly balanced and normal. Even moreso Sirocco.

currently running a #sf2e mini campaign that ties heavily into my main #pf2e game and I was worried going into it because I have a super important NPC I based ***HEAVILY*** on ffxiv's Venat but thankfully my players seem to adore her so far despite her obvious lack of Answers.

thinking about keen-eyed adventurer in WotR again and how it solves Witch's biggest issue (lackluster spell list) without actually being that good. by the time your cantrip damage ramps enough to be usable you've got actual leveled slots and don't need scaling cantrips.

one thing I appreciate about the wrath of the righteous mod Tabletop Tweaks (can you tell i just started a new playthrough?) is how it adds a decent number of pretty useful mythic abilities that kinda clean up some glaring weak spots in the vanilla game's list.

played in my first game of draw steel last night and while I had fun spending time with friends it didn't do a lot to assuage my concerns about the game system. i felt particularly aimless upon realizing so much of the game was "convince the gm to let you use this particular skill for a check"...

riftbound good. might be dropping magic entirely if local events can actually fire at this rate. game feels very intuitive in a weird way, like even as I play games and see new cards the interactions just kinda come together naturally with very little effort. love the rune system, somehow. a+.

started up another attempt at bg3 with the pf2e conversion mod and while it's a little janky at times (like NPCs not knowing that spamming Demoralize when they have garbage CHA is a bad idea) it's been quite fun. nothing really beats casting Runic Weapon on a fighter with Vicious Swing lemmetellya

was talking with some folks at the lgs about the inevitability of an elder scrolls universes beyond set and unfortunately even if it ever does happen i fear that a lot of my really cool ideas are so cool that a real set would never live up to what i came up with on my own.

I definitely don't like daylight savings overall but I cannot deny how funny it is that I was up last night, checked my clock and saw it was 1 am and went back to gaming. then I checked again an hour later and was immensely confused
