Pretty babies. 😍 I have always admired Maine Coons, but because of their long hair, I am unlikely to ever buy a kitten of this breed.

My cats fight each other nonstop when they're awake, so hearing them purr at the same time while they're in the same room is nearly impossible. 😔

Cannibalism was never unusual for Ayumu. That crèche she grew up in ate some of those they dragged back from their "excursions" to the material world.
In the Bhaal temple, what was technically Ayumu's "first kiss" resulted in her biting the lip of the person off, then eating them alive.

I just wanted something that's a vague nod to the role of dreams within my Emperor's-Sword-OC's journey, so I looked up "dream" in different languages. Landed on 'Ayumu' (japanese).

I didn't initially intend for there to be any deeper lore to her name, that happened later xD

At first, he saw the most obvious thing about her, her belonging to the Far Realm, that was enough to keep him from rushing to kill her.
But then, when she finally came into his universe and his life, he respected her truly for the same reason he had always respected the Emperor.

Ayumu came into his life later, and he didn't realize his feelings for her immediately, because the first time they met was in a dream, a very strange dream.

He only respects partners when the partners know exactly who they are and what they want to get out of life.

Definitely not, because Xal is running the KotS with the Emperor, and Jaheira is one of Xal's mindless thralls.
Actually, she was his first thrall, and she was the one he practiced mind breaking on. It came out shitty and rather “dirty”, but it was his first experience.
Minsc was his next.
