If you’re talking about a pure upgrade from Switch 1 and you have no other consoles, then yeah, it’s worth it.

If you start here, you are likely to be disappointed with Octopath Traveler 1 since things are far more improved. You'd be better off playing Octopath Traveler 1, Octopath Traveler 0, and then Octopath Traveler 2.

I read this entire review and I suppose, to the author, the point of Octopath was to have 8 different characters with different stories? I’m not entirely sure. Regardless, it doesn’t sound like 0 misses the point, it merely changed it.
