Oh, true. I assumed they were feeding on some local swarm, but at that distance it was impossible to say. It was interesting behavior though, not flying in formation and not going anywhere, a huge flock.

It's true that strangler figs are not sharers, quite the opposite, but it's interesting how much we're learning even now about the subtle communication and sometimes cooperation both at treetops and even more so in root systems and companion ecologies... but that's its rock 😄
