I loved the writing in Trails in the Sky, especially the characterization. The focus on small, local problems and Estelle/Joshua's connections to the locals organically built the stakes for the final section. I blazed through that game because I cared about what happened to the kingdom.

I should go straight into Cold Steel I after finishing Azure, but I kinda want to play a modern game to remind me of all the stuff I fell in love with.
