Yep. It was a major reason they were able to expand so quickly.

I think it’s done in many cases to foreclose judicial review. They know courts are very deferential to national security claims, a stance they should probably change given the clear bad faith usage by this administration.

I will say this: stock buybacks are bullshit maneuvers by management to max out the value of their compensation packages.

It’s why tax breaks for corporations don’t lead to more investment.

Trump is shockingly right, that money should be plowed back into the business.

I’m worried about the Hawks. The Rams torched their D and I can’t imagine the niners offense being any less potent.

The good news is that if you can’t get pressure on Darnold, he can hurt you. That said, would not prefer a G18 shootout.

It can be used in both a positive and negative way

I was dicking doing X thing and… (positive)

Stop dicking around and do X (negative).

It’s a versatile phrase

These people are totally insane. I mean utterly untethered to reality.

I have a 40 key keyboard so I do travel with that.

That makes me cry laughing every time I watch it.

Pete Hegseth sees the willingness to commit war crimes as a sign of a muscular fighting force (he wrote about this).

These people see rules and decency as weakness. They willingly cross the line into barbarism in pursuit of some perverted view of masculinity.

It turns out Trump can intimidate the BBC and get them to self-censor. That’s really disappointing.

I don’t know how you can dispute it for the first one. Seriously, it’s the definition of the word.

The second one is less clear cut but it works much better than two people who have never been in my kitchen.

This is super esoteric and I love it.

DOGE didn’t fail at all.

It wrecked agencies for a generation (one which will lead to the deaths of millions), breached data silos to the benefit of the worst people, and has successfully burrowed its participants into key agencies w/in the govt.

That was always the goal.

I love AOC. She has great policy instincts and is an incredibly savvy politician. But she can’t win the presidency for the primary reason that she’s a woman and as Michelle Obama pointed out, this country seems to be unready for that.
November 23, 2025 at 4:55 PM
Definitely. It hit its true goals in spades.

Blames Zelensky for the war. Brags we’re making a profit.

Sounds about right.

I’m glad he pushed back. Every person RFK kills is on Cassidy 100%

This is legit. There are some things in there that Putin wouldn’t like (isn’t a maximalist deal).

Putin has the guy negotiating it for this very reason: he can distance himself from it.

Did you know we can’t prove that Skittles don’t cause autism? Big Candy doesn’t want you to know and has conspired with doctors to cover it up.

You suck McBain!

Even if you assume Trump is so incompetent he never is able to consolidate power, he’s drawn a roadmap to do so.

We have to have the political will to make major structural reforms or doom our democracy. If we win the trifecta in 28, we’ve got two years to fix things.
