Acrylic for this one. I use acrylic modeling paste but often it’s just the paint itself that’s creating the texture.

Good question! I think when they seem to look more like “something” I’m more likely to look for a name…. Plus I’m always interested to hear what other people think about it. I still probably won’t name it anything other than “Blue Abstract #5”!
