Heated Rivalry sounds interesting, but after my HBO subscription ended earlier this year I decided that I would stay away from that whole hostile takeover bid mess. I won't go back unless it's settled to my satisfaction and the subscription rate drops again. But I miss it.

I saw them as headliners in 1969 at the Illinois State Fair. For some longish period that year my favorite radio station in St Louis (KXOK at that time) would play it every night at 10pm. In A Gadda Da Vida has retained a permanent place in every mp3 player or computer I've owned. 🤎

I was in the UK at that time. It was a big hit on BBC1 as well as the pirate radio stations (e.g. Radio North Sea).

I always liked Q. I feel that Jennifer did not get good stories from the writers. I didn't really like Neelix, for personal reasons, but I'm a big fan of Ethan Phillips.

While I don't own a copy of this, I don't run away if it pops up somewhere. Then again, I always appreciate hearing Grace (and, to a lesser degree, Mickey). I think they blended well. Am I insane? And we still have "corporate-rock commercialism" - but we are lucky here to have the great KSHE95.
