I've lived in this country my whole life and only experienced Japan's social issues, so I'm grateful that my global followers help broaden my limited knowledge and perspective.

USA may have a solid foundation of national laws, but we are still in turmoil and fear. In the USA, it feels like people build stronger communities than the government does. But I think it would be wonderful if we could. As you say, we probably need confidence and courage. Trust too.

I think Japan's judicial system imposes light punishments on criminals, but it tends to be especially lenient towards immigrants and tourists, which breeds resentment. I believe coexistence can't begin until the government first establishes proper laws.

We fell into poverty, and the previous government decided so many things before we were ready to accept them, leaving the people confused. I'm one of them. I'm anxious about the future because there are Japanese and foreigners who abuse the immigration system and social security to make money.

thank you for talking to me again. Thank you for teaching me how “difference” and “fear” lead to discrimination. Yes, we become very sensitive to things outside our common sense in a single ethnic nation. I think we may be overthinking it, because we learn politeness especially from young age.

I don't know which European country it was, but I saw on X girls cowering in a car surrounded by immigrant men. Later, their bodies were found…was that fake news too?

A few months ago, a follower told me that in 🇺🇸 , immigrants are wonderful neighbors and live as American citizens. Trump tried to send back people who've lived there for generations😞
I wish we could live well with immigrants like in USA.

I think about that a lot too! If the government views immigrants as cheap labor, that's disrespectful. It seems that in some cases, they are being exploited to work in poor conditions under the pretense of teaching them skills.
