FUCHS lubrication technology must be a joke, right?!

Or is this just straight faced for LinkedIn?

Physics, History, English, and Latin teachers of mine have all been found out (and successfully prosecuted) for paedophilia, and even we didn't have rumours as lurid as that (maybe that's how they got away with it though 😳)

Just hoping my kids, freezing today in their tiny pop up sukkah in a London back garden, feel as positively in the future

When you could invoke the first Israelite King, just ignore the obvious, and invoke one of the most antisemitic "king's" Tsar Alexander II instead

You'd think that the Chief Secretary of the Admiralty would want to harness that extra wind for his ships

So, happy 362nd anniversary to this entry from the Diary of Samuel Pepys – who had gone to bed the three previous nights “in some pain”, “in great pain”, and “beginning to be troubled with wind as I used to be”
Diary of Samuel Pepys, 7 October 1663: I did keep my bed; and my pain continued on me mightily, that I keeped within all day in great pain, and could break no wind nor have any stool after my physic had done working. So in the evening I took coach and to Mr Hollyards, but he was not at home; and so home again. And whether the coach did me good or no I know not, but having a good fire in my chamber, I begun to break six or seven small and great farts; and so to bed and lay in good ease all night, and pissed pretty well in the morning, but no more wind came as it used to do plentifully, after it once begun, nor any inclination to stool.

Defining the mere existence of the Palestinian national project as being in opposition to the safety of Jews living anywhere in the world is obviously unfair to Palestinians, but it also ultimately reifies the logic that makes synagogues in diaspora targets of anti-Israel violence. It helps no one.

The people responding to a horrible attack on a shul in the diaspora with "This is about Israel-Palestine" are essentially arguing that Jewish existence and Palestinian existence worldwide are fundamentally irreconcilable.

Unfortunately, the Board of Deputies of British Jews appears to agree.

It's been a challenging few days. And now, on top of it all, messages from school that there are cases of head lice in both kids' classes 🦗

As a visibly Jewish person, I always know that going to a synagogue means assuming a certain degree of risk. But now I know that if something were to happen to me, it wouldn't just be sad for my family, but people would try to exploit my death to push policies I deplore.

"I wouldn't necessarily support hunting immigrants through the streets with packs of ravenous hyenas, but clearly the voters want and expect them to be hunted by something and it's shameful that elites are sneering at hyena centric suggestions just because they come from real working Britons."

Spent 6 years trying to set up Prince's Trust partnerships to get young people into work in c18 countries. I've seen a lot better policy, practice, and funding than this in places Britain wouldn't even think of learning from

Stopping caffeine today to try to help make Thursday's Yom Kippur fast a bit easier. Never a good time to go cold turkey, but would have been so much worse if trying to keep up with everything in Liverpool

Plenty! But bears really need to get themselves ready to feast on the whale when we tell the story of Jonah on Yom Kippur. Even Jewish bears are exempt from fasting

I'm 90% salt beef and 10% apple tonight. No way I can manage a dance before waking up for shul. Unless we're advocating for mid-shacharit napping too
