When I play with friends we have weird discussions, look up rules, and can take detours to get where we want to go. I hate listening to it though. I don’t want your weird digressions or indulgent baloney. Not for me. I also appreciate brevity. Shorter is better for me. 1 hour eps are ideal.

An uncle of mine used to work in Mission Control at NASA. I remember sitting around my grandma’s kitchen table when I was like 13 (1989 or so) and uncle Don explained that we *could* have free electricity if we wanted it, but because there would be a fight over who owned it, nothing changed.

This is why I get so put out whenever someone puts dudes like Cuban forward as examples of “good” billionaires. There aren’t any. To be a billionaire is a morally bankrupt position. They hoard resources other people need to live.

And there are scenes between acts that can influence things like Piggy’s anger or Fozzie’s confidence. The goal is to get through the show without anything going wrong, but that gets more difficult as the episode continues. /5

Whenever Piggy is in an act, there is a rage meter that is slowly filling up. If it goes off she starts beating people up. If you get through the act without it going off, don’t worry, it doesn’t reset till it goes off or the episode ends. /4

Maybe each episode has a disaster clock counting down that revolves around something specific like a stunt Gonzo is dead set on doing. Something going wrong can trigger the disaster clock to advance a bit. /3

Ezra Klein’s brand is contrarianism. Dude cannot write anything without an “um actually” angle to it. He dresses it up with faux intellectualism and gets huffy when he gets called on it. World is a better place if you ignore him and treat him as noise.

Hmmm… almost sounds like, given the administration’s other actions in this area, that due process is more of a problem to them than drugs, immigration, etc.

Pretty reminiscent of how folks acted around the Iraq invasion under Bush. Point out inconsistencies or errors and they get high and mighty and start trying to shut down the conversation. To them, disagreement is a high crime.

I think it’s maybe more that they are desperate not to say that *this* president is authorizing targeted killings.

I think the easiest way to get a rule set that is big and detailed enough is crowdsourcing. Make it community owned and run on donations ala Wikipedia. It would need a core of rules that rarely changes, so that these spells, items, etc. function like plugins for a website. /7
