Remember where most of DG's and DT's products come from: China. Then remember the punishing tariffs imposed on China (from 145% then down to 10% except 25% for furniture, all subject to review etc). Doubt that things will remain a dollar at these stores, even if they can manage to import anything.

Trump is a pathetically weak man. He is obsessed with elevating his own importance in ways that still never satisfy. Nothing fills the hole in his psyche his father kicked through him. He's only about pomp and ceremony, but comprehends nothing of--and so does not respect-- honor and service.

I would argue that we actually do have great reporters. It appears what we are lacking is a Katherine Graham as media owner and publisher.

It's such an AMAZING talent that not a single person ever knew about it! I believe it consists of stripping naked down to lip gloss and high heels and pouting seductively for the camera. Of course, when one is 55 years old, the appeal fades a bit.

When (not if) he ascends the throne, he will become the most hated man in the US. He lacks the messianic quality Trump cultivated so it is doubtful he could ever claim the MAGA base. With no constituency beyond Thiel, Vance will be an utter disaster and the focus of everyone's anger.

Please be clear: exactly what do you expect to happen? The Republican party holds the White House, the House, the Senate, and the majority on the Supreme Court. Who do you expect to intercede, and what do you expect them to do?
